Hello,
I’m Fatos Bozoguz. I was born in Berlin in 1971.
I studied Ceramics at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul (1991–1995), where I first created my cartoon characters, Graphic Cartoons (Grafis/Grafiler). They have been with me ever since, shaping my artistic journey for more than three decades.

During my student years I held four solo exhibitions. In 1996, I began my professional career as a cartoonist for Yeni Yuzyıl – Sabah Group Daily Newspaper, and soon after published my first Graphic Cartoon Comic book (2002) together with over 20 children’s story and illustration books (1997–2002).
From 1997 to 2000, I worked at Kanal D (Channel D) as an Editor of Art & Culture programmes, while also animating my own characters for television. At the same time, I contributed cartoons to LeMan, Turkey’s leading humour magazine.

Between 2001 and 2012 my work continued to appear widely. I drew for Cosmopolitan Turkey (2003–2004) and later for LeMan Bayan Yani (2012), alongside projects with brands such as Turkcell and Genpa Companies. I also co-founded three pioneering online cartoon platforms: grafi2000.com (1997), bebelerebalon.com(2000), and grafiler.net (2003), which became well-known long before the rise of social media.
